Auld Lang Syne

December 31, 2010

Should old acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind? Should old acquaintance be forgot and auld lang syne?

Without old acquaintances, I would not be who I am today. Without GayDate, Andre, Chef Hottie, Robbie and all of the other crazies I have met along the way, I would not be Darcy Dates. So as the clock strikes 12 bringing us into a brand New Year I will not forget you. I will remember you fondly and thank you for making this all possible.

I did hear from a bunch of old suitors as the New Year approached. Maybe they figured as I jumped into the new year I would bang my head on the ceiling so hard I would forget why I didn’t want to date them in 2010? I won’t forget. While I don’t know what this new year brings, I do know this: If I didn’t want to date you in 2010, I won’t want to date you in 2011.

2010 was actually a great year full of some wonderful surprises, but I know 2011 will be even better. Wishing you all peace, love and happiness in the New Year.

With Love,

Darcy
